A guy in AZ is selling a Cobra built by Cobra Performance Car Company. Does anyone know anything about this company?

Thanks for trying. I contacted the seller and he has no idea either as the Cobra was apparently purchased at auction.

Do you have any digital pics? It could be the Cobra Co you speak of was a shop and the actual Cobra is from one of the manufacturers out there.

Very vague information and pictures, you might want to take a closer look and pictures yourself

Performance Car Company is in South Africa.

See: http://www.shellvalley.com/cobra/venom.asp

They are sold here under the name of Venom 427. The car is very similar to the Backdraft Cobra. Compair what's for sale to
the Venom 427 at Shellvalley. What's for sale may be an early model. Can't tell by the photo so check it out good. Could be a good buy...who knows?

I'm still thinking about it. This car came up and it has a 1966-427 Hollman Moody medium riser side-oilier as original. It's $44K.

Well, hummm, Performance Cars could have built this car 10 years ago with Jag parts but now use BMW? Just a guess on my part, who knows what they did back then? I think for $44k you could find a very nice SPF with great resale value. To, me that's a lot of money for an unknown and it's hard to know if there's a real side oiler there. However, it could be, and maybe more than $44K in parts. Just check it out real good!

I'll pass on this one. I've come to the realization that SPF is the way to go, partly due to resale. I do realize that there are probably some good deals out there in Cobraland, but we are talking about a used car and if I end up buying a Cobra that gives me nothing but grief, my wife with proactively add a lot more grief.
