Hi Mikiec, As you know my Cobra performed perfectly from the start of the trip all the way to my son's home in Michigan, 2,387 miles. ( I've now got 8,400 miles total on it. ) I did install a new unbrakeable rear license plate holder once I got to Michigan. Son, James, loves the Cobra. On Wed. evening I calmly asked if I could get a ride to the Detroit airport on Saturday. Jim asked if I was leaving on Sat. and why did I need a ride to the airport. That was when I told him that the Cobra was going to stay with him for a while. There was no sound from him for about 30 seconds and then all he could do was smile. Jim did get to make about seven runs in the Cobra at the airport on Sunday, both courses, so I feel comfortable letting him have it. Besides, he's safer than I am. I even got a chance to drive in the rain AGAIN ! My gas mileage varied by who ever was leading our little group. When MikeF and I drove I was getting 21 MPG, when Paul was leading I was getting 17 mpg. I'll get the car back here in Tucson about Sept. 8th or so. It was a great trip. John
