Run To The Pines Part 2

Hello, all. It was a great trip. Great weather for the 20th year in a row at Pine Top. My 3rd year in a row. Joining me was Dave, Jeff, Jack, Brian and Hershel. We met Jim and his new FFR and Steve and his NAF. Great show. Lots of "Good Guys" caliber cars. Neal Jackson joined us with great excuses for not completing his Cheetah.
Most of us Barbecued Friday at the Casino. Dave had to go replace his Pilot bearing and Throw-out bearing but made it for Saturday show. Brian and Barb "Froze their bu__s driving up the canyon Sat early am.
Almost all of us went out to Pats Pizza in Show Low Sat night.
Tried calling Neal to go see his Cheetah, but no answer. I left early Sunday. I love early morning drives and was home about 11am. I read that Hershel won. Congratulations, you deserve it.
We all decided the barbecue at Mr Pinks was just one item too much for the weekend for us old farts.
Jim, I am afraid a barbecue has to be the target location for the run if it's to ever happen and that's a long there and back run. I didn't have your phone to call you but I warned about those Independent minded Cobra drivers.

First, Gongrats Hershel, That is one fine GT-40 you deserve it!

Second, Thanks to Bob for keeping everything together, we have so much fun getting together with the Guys & Gals that enjoy the same intrest. There were so many nice cars out there, I took 50 pictures, and forgot to take shots of the Cobra's lined up. I will sort through the shots and post if there is any thing good. Thanks again,

Good seeing you again Saturday. Thanks for coming up! Sorry I missed your call - I ended up working till 10 PM Sat at the show and then was back there at 7:30 AM Sunday until about noon.
