Talking Looking for a Cobra

I'm looking to buy a Cobra. Like anyone, I want everything and I want it cheap. Probably my biggest criteria is independent rear suspension. I've seen the ad for Scott's FIA in Mesa and will contact him when I return from vacation (leaving in just a few hours. If you know of any other candidates, please let me know at nniets@cox.net.

Oh yeah - I'm in the $30,000 range.

Thanks,
Ron

So Ron you did sign on!

Ron and I emailed back and forth yesterday a number of times. Good guy, long automotive backround. Just sold his '66 GT350. Serious buyer.

I told him what a great group of guys there are down in AZ. OK so I embellished a little

In all seriousness if you can help him out, please do. I think he will make a fine addition to the Cobra family.

Rick

Ron,

I'm not sure about any sales going on in the Phx area in your price range. There is a beautiful ERA for sale in the area. He is asking 53K. I know its over your limit.

If you stop by Gordon Levy's shop he may know more about whats for sale. Also, stop by Anthem Motors in North Phoenix. They generally have cars available. If not they may be able to find what you are looking for.

Shoot me an email if you want to join the club. mikec@holsum.phxcoxmail.com

There may be cars in Tucson for sale. I can check.

Mike

There are 2 cobras in the current Auto Trader Sports and Classic - the Yellow cover. One FFA for 23K and a Classic BB for 37K

Ron, call Greg, 480-229-0986. He's selling his very well detailed Cobrett. (Corvette chassis and running gear) More leg and foot room and a very comfortable ride. 98% of the people can't tell it from a 90" WB replica unless its parked next to one. You could get into this car for low to mid $20K's. If ya just gotta have FoMoCo, this is not for you, but for a well built, dependable, reasonably priced car, its sure worth a look.

Mikie, Mikie, Mikie! I certainly did enjoy the gathering last Saturday at Hillbank. Good to see so many nice cars and good people. You just never know when the light will shine through and truth and justice will prevail. Us "backwards motored" guys seem to tend to like going fast, not having to mortgage our left heuvos, and not have to spend every waking hour working on our engines just to keep them running. Fix or Repair....what? The Crusade continues. By the way, what does ttt mean?
