Question Westsider question

Where's a fun place for an after-work cruise over on this side of town? I've tried a few drives after work and it seems like I spend a lot of time 20 cars deep in traffic at stop lights.

Is there some place fun to go for a quick cruise to shake off the day where there won't be a zillion other people trying to get home from work?

Just do some 100mph blasts down the 101 against traffic and enjoy. What time day right at 4pm, 5pm , 6pm? there are some drives that could be fun but you would have to beat to rush a little or wait a little bit later like 6:30 or so.

Try a run out Grand Ave toward Wickenburg. Few stops, straight long run. You could come back via Route 74 carefree hwy and 99th ave South

Hey, if you're coming out Wickenburg way, stop in and say hi and help/watch me stuff the engine in! Cobish is coming out tomorrow morning.

We'll be here all day Friday, and most of Saturday.

After a couple of glitches (slip yoke, stater), we are finally ready to put the drivetrain in tomorrow. The slip yoke showed up with the proper number of splines, but was binding about 1" in, so they sent me another. The starter that came with the 402 wasn't working, and Roush sent a replacement which should be here tomorrow morning. That's the good news. The bad news is I still have to wait about 3 to 4 more weeks (at least) for lights. They are "on the water" I'm told.

I'll try to post some new pictures tomorrow, er, uh, I mean later today!

Tom
