Knott's 2006: Participant Awards
I have a link ( http://kitcarnews.com/2006/04/knotts...cipant-awards/ ) to one of the first listings I have found for the Knott's 2006: Participant Awards. I am proud to mention Vic was able to win a 1st place award in class 14 for his first build. The link is to Kit Car News.
Vic built a Cobray-C3 with a nasty stroked small block pushing a rock crusher 4 speed. Thanks to everyone that attended and a special thanks for the votes. The AHA show was the 26 or 27th annual show I will have to go look but is without a doubt one of the best shows all year.

Well it is about time you joined the board. There is a ton of info available from the old threads and combined experience. I like the Vettebelow name. Now lets get you to a few of the Tuesday club dinners and Sat. night car shows.

dave, can not get it up!
Thanks Dave for the mention that the AHA results have been posted. I have tried the link several times but it does not come up. I will try latter but have been checking back for a couple of hours to no avail.
PS Is that Daytona ready to show yet??

Hi Jeff... your right the link I copied in doesn't work - no clue why - just type in the base website of www.replicarclub.com and you'll see a hyperlink to "Knotts 2006 winners" which will get you there.
Daytona is at least to a roller state now that I've got the AMP front suspension in and I just bought my Tremec T500 so hope to have the engine/trans in for dryfit by July 4th! While your on the AHA site go to "Membership" and you can see the progress under "Members Rides"
Hasta....

Daytonaman,
I did find the listing and also rummaged around the AHA site. That Daytona is actually starting to look like a car. Looks damned good and is a neat TOY.
I noticed the garage too, ya can eat off that floor! You need to do some more grinding and welding to break that baby in a little. I can send you some resign so carefully placed globs stuck to the floor will make things right.
I know the Engineering DNA in your blood makes that tough to do but I am living proof it can be diluted. Car looks Great!!! get er done!

Dave,
That's it.... That's all you have done in 3 years.
Are you going to drag that thing to Laughlin? You may get the hard luck award.
