Done Deal
Last Saturday I finally closed the loop. Thanks to Frank Dodd with Back Draft racing's Affidavit giving the MVD a lesson in date formats. Thanks for everyones help. I look forward to meeting you all at future events after the wonderful dry heat subsides.

You mean when there is "Global Cooling?" because no matter how hot this seems to you it was only 100 today... In another couple of weeks it will be 110... last June , in fact 19/06/06 (date in correct order ) it was 121 in Tempe.... 100 is nothing, we're all still wearing sweaters...
I look forward to meeting you as well, come to the pavillions one weekend..
Or maybe we could all go out to Tortilla Flats for breakfast one weekend...
Steve

With any luck, I will be going down to the DMV office on Greenfield, one week from Wednesday. If it turns in to a street fight, I'll certainly come on and tell everyone. I'm trailering my car back from the mid west on Monday. I'm leaving it trailered until I get to DMV. I hope they don't get upset that I don't have a hall pass.

Not at all. Guess I'll have to have Steve splain it when we see him.
Dan if you need moral support let me know and I'll meet you at the MVD and we can pi$$ and moan together.

The last letter of the alphabet in the entire English speaking world not to mention in German, French etc , with the single exception of the USA is pronounced as "Z" and not as the Dutch sounding "Zee" . I am surprised you didn't know that.. Bernie Knight and myself, being English speaking foreigners from different parts of the former British Commonwealth pronounce it exactly the same as the English..
Here is a clue, catch the Z...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4q7OFf5216s
No mystery, just the normal Z...

Enough said I took my FFR to that location 3 years and it took me over a month of jumping through hoops because the frame didn't have a VIN attached.

Yes indeed welcome to the bizarro world. Nothing but road scholars working at that location. It cost me almost three trips and 70 miles overall of back and forth.

ZEE, ZED, ZET, ZOT. It all depends on who and where. Lots of different names for the same thing.
As for the DMZ.. er, I mean DMV, I think I'll try the one on Scottsdale and FLW BLvd. Sounds like they might be just a bit more together than the Greenfield office.
Dave, Thanks for the offer. If it comes to pissing and moaning, I'll buy the Scotch.

Well, I went down this morning and registered my car and trailer. They didn't like the Comtemporary ID plate and VIN, so they assigned an Arizona VIN. Total cost for the car was $28.70. Smooth as silk. Thanks for the tip on the Scottdale Road office.
Now, when's the party?
