Default San Diego 4th of July Parade

I went over to the coast and visited some friends for the Fourth. While I was there, I was lucky enough to ride the 4th of July parade with the San Diego Cobra Club. Here are a few photos of the Cobras, more Delorians in one place than I believe I've ever seen and the Scripps Hospital IV Bottle Drill Team.. (Sounds like something from the DuDah Parade in Glendale CA.) Thanks to Skip and all of the great folks from San Diego for making me welcome.

Hi. I just registered on this site. I live in Encinitas, San Diego County. Nice pictures. Can you or anyone assist me in finding a shop to help complete my Cobra besides JBA? Nothing against JBA, I think they are pretty busy already and I need help fast. If you or any of your San Diego friends can reply with some info I would appreciate it. Thanks. Todd.

What type of help do you need?

I was over in LA and SD during the week. I did see a coupe going the wrong way on the PCH Thursday about noonish.. The wife had distracted me and only caught a glimpse. I believe it was gray. Sounded very healthy.

Interesting story. Took a friend for a ride in the car on Thursday morning. We are in downtown San Diego going north on 5th ave. This guy had never seen a Cobra up close. As we turn onto 5th ave another Cobra, Off white with mint green stripes and Oregon plates, passes us going north. We weave in and out of traffic for a minute and catch up. Waves and greetings and the usual stuff as we turn around to head back and he continues on. Phil was surprised. He hasn't seen one live in 50 odd years and when he gets his first ride, he sees two.

I guess you had to be there. Reading this back isn't a funny as I thought it would be. Oh well. Tomorrow's Monday. That's always worth a laugh.
