I posted a reply but don't see it listed here. I don't know your address, but if you send it to me at mannyjoe@aol.com I would be happy to bring the donuts.

Hey Paul G.... Are you going to be there? We do need the T-5 rebuild guru.
I would call you but I'm at work and the cell phone is home.

Dan..
Ginny would love to see the 'Lil Red-head. However, for those two to get together she(Linda) needs to get on a plane to Boston. Ginny flew out, today, for her mom's B-day.
So... If you want to play with the red-head and miss all the fun, not to mention donuts, Go ahead.
I have the tranny almost ready to pull. 2 bolts holding it in. 1 bolt on the drive shaft, need to raise the tranny to remove it. Just need to remove the shifter and drain it.

I should be there around 10 AM, I have a few things outside of IBM that need to look at sometime this weekend. I bring over the tools that are needed.

Thanks to Lyle, Mulv, MannyJoe, Jeff and Paul.. Everything is apart and ready for cleaning. Looks like some damage to the 1st-2nd slider gear. I'll do a closer inspecion once everything is cleaned.
Bowing to the wisdom of all those present, I removed the clutch to inspect.. Looks new. No scoring or burns on the flywheel. I'll re-install that tomorrow.
Gonna let the tranny parts soak in cleaner for a day and then start the re-assemble.

Mikie, now that the transmission is out, there's only a few more things to unbolt to pull the motor. That 514 might still be for sale. Just think of the burnouts you could do with that...You'd be surprised at how nice it is having ALMOST enough power.

It's starting to get funny ugly...more more.
Wouldn't that be cool to see Mikie give one of those Marines a little burn out with that 514,,..come on; go get the thing and put it in. You know you would love it.

It was great to see everyone although it was a little scary too... 22 inch jackstands and it was a tight squeeze for some....
I see a telescoping steering wheel in the near future

I stopped by Sat. to check up on Mike and the crew. Seems like they were a little worn out moving that 7000 pound jack around. I had blocks for the jack stands that give ya a little more height but they did not need them. Super Mike said he would just hold the car up with his belly as you can see in Mulv's photo. When I was there they had made a lot of little parts out of bigger parts ....
