The weights varied a lot. The lowest weights, 2,130,lbs., 2,213, & 2,214, were on Cobras that were recently completed and licensed. However, they do not have carpet, windwings, sunvisors, windshield wipers, etc., or paint. And they didn't have the collection of tools that we somehow accumalate and ten pounds of dirt and dust inside and under the cars. These were stripped down but drivable cars. One Cobra came in at 2,169. It was autocrossed for a couple of years and the suspension and weights were closely watched, it is a beautifully finished Cobra with a 302 and five speed. Another raceing Cobra was 2,309. The added weight is due to road racing suspensions, instruments, seats, racing tires and wheels. This car has been heavly modified. Two Cobras that enjoy the show circuit came in at 2,334, & 2,371 lbs. The weight that seemed to be the average for a normal driving street Cobra was between 2,200 and 2,400 lbs. My personnel Cobra came in at 2,513 lbs. I was in the car, 185 lbs, the gas tank was completely full, 90 lbs.+, my normal tools, cleaning supplies, folding chair, and a blanket, 18 lbs. With all of that subtracted the car comes in about 2,270 lbs. Karl's Cobra was 2,596 lbs. and I believe that that was the weight with him in it. The heaviest Cobra weighted in at 3,023 lbs. It is a trophy winning "West Coast" with a lot of comfort. John
