Dave, Hopefully your mud patch will be dried by Sunday. We're supposd to be back into the mid 60s tomorrow and into the 70s Sunday. Beautiful weather for a ride. It will certainly be a little brisker than Tuesday's pace. I should hope!

Dan...I'll meet you at Brown and Ellsworth at 9am. My lovely wife will be in SFO for the weekend so I have one empty seat if anyone wants to go along with me. Dave...let me know if you need me to get my 4X4 in to you and tow you out.

MIke, Glad to have you along again. Dave, I was going to take another shot you and the road, but I figure you've had enough poking at for a while. Linda and I both hope that you can make it out of the quagmyre and join us on Sunday.

I probably will not make it to meet you all at Brown & Ellsworth in the morning. I am down to the last four wires and they are big and black and have stripes and look really mean. I also discovered an oil leak that seems to be coming from an oil line to the remote filter, that should be an easy fix in the morning. If everything comes together I'll drive up to Globe and look for you. John

Just a note to you guys..I've been a soda pop lover all of my life and with the surgery I will not beable to drink anything carbonated any longer...I tried Crystal Light On The Go and it's great stuff...Actually tastes better than soda ..you carry the little packages with you and dump it in water and it's better for you....Just a thought you guys...

It was a great ride today. Everyone got up there and back. The food was passable and the conversation was fun. Karl I hope it gets fixed.

Jeff, My crank pulley came loose, for some reason. I'd just installed it a few weeks ago when I changed my balancer to a Fluidampr. New bolts and lock washers, and it still came loose. I'll use some lock tite tomorrow after chasing out the bolt holes with a tap. Don't know if the holes on the pulley are hogged out too much but I'll be looking at them tomorrow too. The car didn't quit on me and I didn't loose the belt, but it was wobbling and making noise. Always gotta be something to play with.

That almost sounds like a bowtie boat anchor shot!

The shots are fired, aimed at my tail lights, as they dissapear in the distance.

Karl,
Glad to hear no big deal. I had to tap or re tap holes to a metric size to save one hole. A 10 mm is just a little larger than 3/8's but am sure you have it covered.
Later Karlos

Karl..

While you're at it, please change the motor orientation to the correct position.

Glad it's nothing severe.

Mike

You guys did see that Chevrolet has finally relented and the new NASCAR engines have the distributer in the front.

Well John their wisdom has also invited toyotas into what was NASCAR. I know the money was just too much to walk away from but I feel the USA has lost a bit of ourselves. It has been coming for a while .... 2 door - rear wheel drive -v8, production based, non injected, in block single cam engines -stock production bodied cars ... ya right!!!

Don't forget they have a steering problem. Tough to turn right.

I agree NASCAR has been going down hill for awhile now.

And another thing, BOB, At least I take my car out for a nice little 200-300 mile jaunt, fairly often...I know, I know, you do the club sandwich and the 66 run, but you continue to be SOOO unsociable for our little get togethers. Maybe it there'd be a trophy involved, at the end of the year, of the car with the most participation we could get you out and about. ha.
