Sawee, just saw this. Finished up today and fired her up. Still need to set the timing and futz with the carb but it sounds good. It immediately developed a leak at the water inlet (folded over the stupid gasket) so I fixed that and then went looking for something to plug the no-longer needed O2 bungs. No luck on the bung plugs (insert joke here) so I stuck the sensors back in for now.....Then, after all that I discovered that the left rear turn and brake light had quit working. All the rest of the signals are fine, I have running lights front and rear and the driver's brake light is fine. Bulbs were good so it's in the wiring somewhere.
Ain't ya glad you asked?

The 02 bungs are a pipe thread. It is an unusual size but you should be able to find them in Phoenix. If not email / phone me and I'll get them here in Tucson for you. They cost about a $1.50 each.

Thanks John. I know they exist because I bought a couple at AutoZone when Pink did his EFI/Carb swap a couple years back. They don't seem to carry them any longer, at least there.
The kid behind the counter told me they didn't sell them anymore because it was illegal to remove O2s.

Mike,
Try ACE hardware or a plumbing supply company.

the kid is correct
It's not illegal to remove them from a car that doesn't require them.
I asked if he was gonna call the fuzz on me.
According to the FFCobra forum they are 18mm thread pipe. I'll try NAPA or ACE.

02 sensor bungs are the same thread as spark plugs 14mm.
ADDED FOR MORE INFO
I wanted to add that Auto Zone etc.. sell spark plug anti-foulers. They are a kinda a spark plug extender that has a small hole in the end (maybe 3/16") near the electrode tip that keeps oil from getting on the plug. Easy to weld up and make an 02 sensor plug = 2 bucks each. Or they sell plugs at most muffler shops for about 5 bucks each.

Thanks Jeff, I'll check it out.
The Edelbrock seems to work pretty well right out of the box so far but I'll probably get with you soon to do a little tweaking.
