You can take some very fine screen door screen, 1" velcro, weed wacker line, and some 2" wide linen from the linen store. Take the screen and cut it to fit the inside of the roll bars and in between the two bars. Have an upholstery shop stitch the linen around the screen and put the line through the linen. Stitch the velcro on each side, top and bottom and top of screen to attach to the roll bar. Take another piece of screen and cut it to fit between both rollbars it should be about 6" to 8" tall. Do the same thing with the line and linen and velco, attach to the inside of each rollbar. It works pretty good, the screen breaks the wind and it doesn't go around the sides and beat you to death.

I installed high back race seats to save my and my passengers head from impacting the roll bar and possibly killing us in a rearender, and have noticed that even at 110 mph I can keep my head steady as there is no serious buffeting whereas before with standard length seats the buffeting at those speeds shook my head so much that I got blurred vision.

I was thinking of screens as per this thread but no longer find them necessary.

I know such seats are non-traditional but hey - our lives are more important than tradition.

Default Another solution to consider

I have a friend who makes a bimini-like top for FFRs with dual roll bars. I don't know if he is registered on Club Cobra, but he can be found on FFCars and Factory Five Forum as a vendor and participant. He is in Henderson, NV (Las Vegas area), but makes them and ships anywhere. It attaches and detaches very quickly, and can be stored easily in your cobra's truck for use whenver it rains or the sun is just too much.
