This came out of a Spec Racer, he already had it modified to fit in his spec racer.

I am thinking the support braces on the Spec Racers are not precise and that is why it is hitting mine and why it wasn't hitting the previous spec racer brace. With the standard SC brace, these will not fit. I would have to fabricate (pay someone) to make a whole new brace or modify the support brace a tad.
