Default Car is done and shipping to me Friday

I think my last post mentioned my "cobra rescue", where I hired Mark Dougherty to help me finish my car. Well it's done and is coming home and is ready for title. I hope to do that sometime late next week.

Here are some pics, I really like how it turned out. I missed the early events this year, but now will be able to join.

Mike

Very nice Mike. I'm new to the Cobra world. Is it a FFR,302c.i. supercharged? I have one almost just like yours. Believe me, you'll injoy it to the max. The supercharger does wonders to that engine. Enjoy

Thanks.
Yep is a supercharged FFR. It's on older version MK2, FFR number 3463. I think they are in the 6000's now and MK3's

Mike,

I'm looking forward to seeing it in person. This looks better than the last time I saw it.

One of the most exciting days of my life was waiting for the truck driver to call and tell me he was an hour away. He did and I got the car 6 hours later. A long six hours later. Have fun.

Very nice Cobra Mike. I like the wheels you picked out. From the pics it will run as good as it looks. I also like the stripe-paint color scheme. SHARP !

Thank you all for the positive replies.

@ Mike - I have to give credit to Mark for the final look and finish. He took the car where I had left off and went over everything! The car is much more a cleaner build then I had left off. I'm amazed at the engine compartment for example. I had stuff mounted everywhere.

Mark

Me

@ John - I already know that feeling. The progress of the car slipped a little with Mark. He was spending quality time making it right. I was very impatient waiting, I told him it was like a kid waiting on Christmas. All the next small events are going to drive me nuts (delivery, title, ect)

@Lonestar- I struggled with the wheels. I had bought them several years ago when I was a working on the car myself. I had already done many huge changes and needed to save money so I left off the 4-5 lug conv and choice of other wheels. I was thinking of doing this with Mark, but decided on the KISS concept and left it alone and was happy with just getting the car done. I may change them one day when I have several 1000 miles on the car, but for now I love them.

I look forward to meeting the group at a future event.
Mike
