Don feels bad about the boo boo. Simply put, his foot slipped off the brake while trying to climb his homemade ramps and car went on over the end. Trying to drive with sandles, which is all he ever wears. Don was stretching out the open door trying to see the ramps and oops.
It's true Don will never see this. He is not one with the computer.
I feel his pain.

If he was using a "Stud" Finder, how come he didn't end up at my house?

Mulv, That's STUD finder not STUB finder!

I was saving that one for Fancy or Broberg but neither of them would set it up!

Toe in or Toe out? What's wrong with the front end?

Besides it found the stud?

Don, back in the day right after they created garage doors someone came up with this great invention! See, you take a tennis ball and some rope, drill a hole through the ball, run the rope through the ball and tie a big knot on one end.

Find out where you want to park your car in the garage, If it is half way into the next room so be it (I would like to have a bigger garage also), Then attach the rope to the ceiling just at the point where the ball SMACKS YOU IN THE HEAD! on the ball attach a sign that say's STOP HERE!

So the next time you pull the car into the garage and that ball with the sign smacks you in the head just stop there and WALA no need to travel further!

Now if that doesn’t work there is this process with two balls where the first ball should smack the back of your head prior to hitting the second one, very complicated so try the single ball method first. I have also heard of some making the ball out of steel for a more precise parking method.

And I agree Duct tape fixes everything and now comes in Yellow!

Also, I thought MikeC did this also... Something about a neutral safety switch....? how soon we forget!

It was not Mikiec, it was Ginnyc. Less than 24 hours after the car was registered, Ginny got it to climb a 4 inch step and smack a hollow core door. Damage was limited to a head light and some bent over-rider brackets. Fixed easy as pie. Don's is major compared to Ginny's. Another difference is Don was in the car and Ginny was not.

I've been a little busy and have not gotten the full blow by blow from Don but he was not just pulling her into the garage. Don was trying to put the car up on ramps that he built. NOTE TO SELF.... always put a stop bumper at the end of homemade car ramps!!!

Brian, I like the second ball idea and the steel ball is also a great incentive to make ya pay attention.

Ya, I read the earlier post but thought this was a good place to post a silly string about that old "Tennis Ball"...

Don you have two months and counting to get her fixed up! I hope it was not that bad!

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the support. Really appreciate it. Just waiting for someone else to screw up so I can support them. Hopefully the car will be back in time for Laughlin. Brian, I already have the ball hanging in the garage. The only problem is that it was on the other side of the garage. Diana needed more than I did up until now that is.
