I would but I am out of town for the next couple of weeks. I look forward to getting to some events and putting faces to screen names.

There is a gathering at 91Ave and Northern behind Autozone on Friday nights. I have not been there but know people who go.

Hey Spook,
I hear some very nice cars from the Cave Creek area/town are meeting on Friday nights. I have been meaning to check it out myself but have not made it yet. It is supposed to be on Cave Creek Rd (South side) just East of I 17 in the main front parking lot. I heard there has been an F40 there twice now, I want to check that baby out.

Jeff,

I am at Cavecreek rd. and the 101, Where is this again? Cavecreek rd and I-17 both run North and South, Did you mean Carefree Hwy and I-17? Where you get off the freeway to go to Lake Pleasant?

Tim

Maybe Jeff is referring to this one at Big Earls Greasy Eats in Cave Creek on Friday nights. I have never been there either.

Tim,
YES I did = "Did you mean Carefree Hwy and I-17? Where you get off the freeway to go to Lake Pleasant? :Spoooky" Sorry for the mind fart, It is on Carefree and not Cave Creek. I called a buddy who told me it is also on the North side of Carefree and not S. side as I reported earlier. do not know what I was smokin ????

If that is your stomping grounds can you shed any light on this show? I have been told a couple of times about a show up there but they did not know a business name as a landmark for me. I do have a friend I can call in the PM if better info is needed.

Bob, I have also heard of the one at Big Earl's ..... is it any good, what did you think of it and how long ago were you there? Tim = any input?

EDIT >> Bob, You have not been there yet either. I need to quit trying to walk and chew gum while doing 5 other things. LOL

I have been to the Earl's Greasey eats thing and it is almost all late model Corvettes. I have been twice with the beautiful Nancy and neither time did anyone speak with me nor did I speak with anyone . I had only one of two cars that was older than 10 years. The food is aptly described by the name of the place.....

Sounds like someplace we should invade as a group. Give the folks something to look at.. Even Fancy could get some looks if he keeps his hood closed. Otherwise, it's just another Chevy.

Well Steve,
I the beautiful Ms.Nancy was there I would talk to her first too, she is much better looking than you. Maybe some 8" spike heels and A LOT of make up.... nope still not close.

The get together on Carefree was described as some very nice Toys, a few Wallet Rods and some Production stuff but rare or exotic production stuff. New cars with less than at the very least 3 vowels in their name don't do much for me either. I will try to give a full report after attending one of the shows.

Hey Jeff,

We ended up going to a small show at Sweetwater and Cavecreek. Some beast Chevys there, I was the only Cobra. A little warm out and caught a few rain drops on the way home but got Spoooky in the garage just in time. With the threat of rain tonight we just stayed a little closer to home. It was just ok. Didn't miss anything. My Dad did bring his GTO. Did you get to the Cavecreek show?

Tim,
I did run up to the Carefree area and arrived about 7PM. I am not exactly sure where or at what time the gang meets so just looked around. I checked the whole area and nada, nothing and zippo.

I looked for a black Cobra and kept my ear out for that bad boy of yours but zippo on that front too. I was looking forward to checking out your car and meeting you but we will hook up some time soon.

Drove through some rain on the freeway but very lite and at speed no big deal. I was glad I did not have to stop or really slow down anywhere but 1 traffic light.
