Default PIR Track Day anyone?

All y'all,

I'll be driving with NASA (nasaproracing.com) at PIR on 11/29 (Saturday after Thanksgiving). This is a really good group and PIR is a fun track. If you are interested, I can get you more info. If you have not driven with NASA, you will have to sign up for DE1 and take the instructor day.

Brian, if you're still thinking of going, I'll be in DE3 on Saturday.

Needforspeed, Tucson guys... What say ye?

All you guys need to do this some time. It is a real shame to have these capable cars and not really wring them out!!!

What are the times and when are the classes held? Sounds very interesting. Also, is this ever held at Bondurant?

Thanks Randy Moudry

Gordon, are you racing them or just playing around? May go out for a drive and watch if I am not at the lake redoing my Sat TV.

Mostly playing around and helping a couple of first timers. The events run from 8am to 5 pm sat and sun.

Randy,

Go to nasaproracing.com (NASA) and then go to the event registration page to see days and times. The track usually opens at 6:00 or 6:30 and the last run is close to the end of the day. Begineers will need to sign up for HPDE1, which includes some classroom instruction, track time with instructors, and then maybe track time without instructors. HPDE1 is running the same day as HPDE3, Saturday 11/29/08. You will need a helmet, belts, catch can, battery well secured, good throttle return springs, good brake pads and tires.

This type of event is also held at Firebird, but with a different organization (PASA). Same deal pretty-much; first day is class and instructor ride-alongs. Not sure when the next PASA event is, but I'll likely be going then as well.

Hope to see you there. If you need some more info, just let me know...
