Don't bother to call and see if we are available.

Hi guys, This Saturday we will have lunch at the San Manuel Golf Course, ph #520-385-2224, followed by dessert at the Oracle Inn, ph# 520-896-3333. With your plans to leave up there at 10:30 am it will take you about an hour to get to Winkleman, it's 68 miles and the speed limits are between 50 and 65. The Tucson guys will meet you in Winkleman at the gas station, at the intersection of routes 177 & 77, at 11:30 am. It's 32 miles to San Manuel so we should be there about 12:10 pm. I am assuming lunch will take about an hour and fifteen minutes. We'll depart for Oracle and dessert, arriving there about 1:40 pm. Dessert will be your choice of: Apple pie with ice cream, Hot fudge Sunday with whipped cream, New York style cheese cake, or Bread pudding with carmel & vanilla, any of them are $4.99 each. I am planning to eat outside on the patio. Wear warm clothing, the Tucson temp will be 70 degrees, however, Oracle is at 4,900' and the temp will be about 10 degrees cooler. From Oracle to Hiway60 and Idaho Rd. is right at 1:35 min. for your ride home. Dan thank you for requesting the RSVP's, I have spoken with both restaurants and given them our estimated guest number. Karl, I am sorry that we will not be going to the buffet, let's do it at a later date. Mikiec, hope that you can make it. We are looking forward to seeing all of you again.

What happened to the BBQ? Will the golf course let me in wearing jeans or will I have to break out the slacks? ha.

Karl and Dave, I am saving the best for the next time that you come down here. I do hope that you'll be able to accept this and move on. ( Why can't I just come out and say "suck it up" ).

Default 2 More in a red car

We may make it. I was bitten by a rabid crazed Basset Hound but I think I will be able to drive with 1 hand.

Well, perhaps a new appraisal of our situation is called for. We now have 23 folks from Phoenix alone. Sounds like it's going to be a parade..

I think broadies on a couple greens will be appropriate. The golf course obviously has John's name so they'll know where to send the bill. BTW, I got a date so there will be two of us. My sweetie's not going but my buddie Eric, who's been on a few of our runs, will come along again. He's a glutton for punishment.

John,

I'm brand new to the forum. I'm still in the planning/parts collecting phase, but I'm hoping to rendezvous with you guys in Oracle. San Manuel is a possibility, but not sure about free time yet. If it matters, it'll be two extra guys (sorry). I've been waiting for an opportunity to view a few cars in person. Hope no one minds.

Rob
