Of course.

Nice, Pink. I wish you weren't so easily offended - it is ok to be a bit politically incorrect once in a while..

We have about 4 to 5 murders a day in Japan, and we can not have guns,Over 90% of the murders are stabbing.

Amateurs, we have 47 murders a day in the USA.:MECOOL:

 We are number one with a bullet!

Karl Bebout 04-27-2009 05:10 PM

47 Murders a day sounds a little light, but maybe that is the average. Wonder what the demographics are...

Danr55 04-27-2009 05:16 PM

Women with big guns and pretty black cars.. what a combination..

Canada has about 600 murders per year with about 1/6th the population of the USA which has 17,000. The prosecutors have less power and the society is more diverse than the USA.. That is a rate about the same as Japan... See if you can figure out why....

In the meantime, if you are all heading to the desert to have some fun, I have a new home defense shotgun that I need to try out.. I also have a whole box of 9mm pistol ammo that I no longer have a pistol for if anyone would care to fire it off for me.. :3DSMILE:

Maricopa 04-27-2009 11:52 PM

Probably too cold to get out much...Plus no Mexico on it's Southern border. ;)

Danr55 04-28-2009 05:58 AM

Because the Canadian population is spread out over about the same area as the US. With 1/6 the population over the same area, the US would have far fewer murders each year also. If you eliminate the murders in the US that are family or close friend related, you will find that the number decreases significantly. Anytime you stack so many people in such a small area, you are going to have destructive aberations.

I'd love to try out your 9mm ammo Steve. Let me know what it's worth..

50% of the population is in 6 cities... under 5 % live more than 200 miles from the US border, it is a much more compact arrangement than you might think..

I can bring it to the Pavs if you wish... you can pay with your good looks

Danr55 04-28-2009 09:54 AM
