Default Saturday Morning.. I'm going away with my friends..

To the Rimside Cafe in Pine for breakfast. My Chevette Friends are planning this so right now, I'm the only lonely Cobra.. Anyone else interested? We'll leave the Standard Station at Brown and Ellsworth about 8:00. If any of the westside crew is interested, we can come get you at the Shell station at Shea and BeeLine about 8:30......or... you can meet us at the corner of Bush Hiway and Beeline at 8:25. It's better than sitting home.. !

I kinda want to go, but I haven't driven my car that far yet. (I think it's 2 hour drive each way?) Don't know if I'm really to break down in this heat. (I do have over 1000 miles on my FFR now with no problems....)

Just go...

Quit whimping out. My first long trip was to Vegas, 1 month after the build.

GO FOR IT.

I don't know if I want to DRIVE in this heat. However I did find this:

http://www.coolest-gadgets.com/20070...ning-in-a-can/

Filled with "flammable ethanol" and environmentally unfriendly, now that's what I'm talking about. Maybe I'll get a few cans and have a blast.

That's it China. We do this in the summer time. We usually stop somewhere along the way for photo ops.. We should be home by 1:00 at the latest.

Bob, I know the concept of "friend" is difficult for you to understand, but yes, I do have friends. Perhaps if you would try a little harder, you might have a friend also. Even if it's just an air force retiree, it would be better than what you have now.

Well, Danr, its looking like Bob B. is not really the one with no friends, at least in the Cobra community. Could it be "bathing habits"?

Dan, I talked my buddy Chuck to be my navigator and plan on meeting you at " we can come get you at the Shell station at Shea and BeeLine about 8:30..."." !
We'll help protect you from all those bad chebbys!
Also planning on going to the Firebird drags tonight with Tom (Lonestar 024), he told me I had to dress up like a Drag Queen, what should I wear, Dan?

The turnout of cars were mediocre, 2 Chebbies and 2 Cobras. But the breakfast run turned out GREAT, only because the 7 people that showed made it great!
Nice cool ride up, a little overcast in Pines and hotter than hell coming back through the city, while in stop'n'go traffic in the construction zones on 60.
Pictures will probably posted by Dan.
