Default Breakfast Run

It's supposed to be cooler this weekend. Anyone up for a breakfast run on Sunday? Places under consideration are Punkin Center and Strawberry.

We didn't exactly leave by 6 am. Left south scottsdale at 7:00 am to the San Tan Cafe (daughter-in-law) for breakfast. Grandson works there on weekends. Great new breakfast and lunch Cafe for you guys in that area. Good quality and reasonable prices. We are a little biased thou. Alot of pickups there all the time, so that is a good sign. 68 miles round trip and only got on it once, right!

Dan, I think it's great you put these outings together. I couldn't make this one due to other committments, but thanks for the idea. If it weren't for you and Mike a lot of the stuff we do probably wouldn't happen.

We left at 6:15 and the drive was spectacular! The temps were crisp and the visibility unlimited. We ate are Aunt Somethings Diner in Punkin Center and got an invite for the entire club to come to Punkin Center to ride in the Veterans Day Parade. I will pass the information along to Mikie for consideration. Oh, and the food was great. Some of the best green chili and eggs I've ever had.

veterans day parade?

Sounds like a good idea. At least I won't have to wear that silly stars hat.

Veteran's Day? This year that's a Wednesday. Would the parade be the Saturday before or after? Or on the Wednesday? Just so happens I am off all 3 days.

I lied. That was last year that Mikie had the stripes. THis year I had the stripes so you don't have to wear the stars..

The parade is on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Dan, that parade sound interesting. Have you got a phone number or e-mail we can officially register with as a group? We can start a new thread as we get closer to November.

I will be getting official sign up forms in the mail. I will post the info when I get them. The man who spoke to me is Jack Day, USMC (RET). 928-479-2220. Only address is a PO box.

Gary,

You get them both this trip.

Dan, let me know when all the details are ironed out and I'll get an email out to the gang.
