Default New owner in Phoenix

Hi all--

I actually joined this forum over 4 years ago, but have never had reason to chime in. Finally after many years I have taken the plunge and bought a Superformance with a 427 side oiler in it.

Mike I met you last year at one of the saturday nights at the Safeway on 83rd...and was asking a ton of questions about your car. Looking forward to making it out there in my own car.

I'm a long time car guy but have mostly had british sports cars (MG, Triumph, Jaguar)...and actually still have three MGs (for now)...I need to thin the herd.

Hey Saul,
Welcome to the insanity. Congrats on the purchase of your newest Toy. I am sure we will see you at one of the events. I am looking forward to doing 83rd Sat. night with the cold spell this week-end. It is forcasted to only be in the 90's Sat. night !!!

I have not gone to any shows for about the last month because it has been so darn hot. Maybe you will come out and chill with us?

Way to go , Saul! Does your car happen to be Blue? Did you buy Jeff's car, that he'd bought from Mulv? If so, you certainly got a well sorted out, great car. Only reason I ask is that Jeff's car has an original 427 SO and I'd heard that he's been wanting to sell. I'm sure we'll meet one of these days, after I get my car re-bodied and back on the road. It will be the copper colored one.

Thanks for ther welcome all. Unfortunately won't be able to make shows tonight...my son is interested in getting into karting and PKRA has a race this evening we're going to go check out.

It is Blue...and came through a Jeff...but it is Jeff from Brighton Motorsports. I believe the car was owned by a guy named Tom.

I've posted a bunch of photos here:

And of course here are a couple from those shots:

Hey Saul
What kind of MG's do you have?
I drove to high school in a 57 MGA.

I'm actually running three of them right now. Have a supercharged 73 MGB roadster, a 68 MGB GT, and a 59 MGA coupe.

Probably looking to sell two of them now that I have the cobra...definitely will sell the GT...but a toss up between the MGB roadster and the MGA coupe...both are really nice cars and really don't want to sell either!
