Smile Feel it - starting to get cool at night? Almost that time...

Charge them there batteries up; check those tires and hoses. It is getting close to fire up time. Kick the mice out of the air cleaners and fire it up..

Fitz, you wuss! Most of us have been driving a little bit all summer. Only the shy folk have stayed away entirely.. Although I know how it is when you have lots of toys. Can never decide... Cobra or boat...Cobra or boat....

Well it's been a long hot summer and I have just about completed my engine swap. New Carb engine replacing my old EFI. New wiring and multiple other jobs done too. I ran the engine (had it dynoed and tuned before dropping it in) today and everything is working with only minor drips to fix witht a little wrenching. I gained about 75-100 hp with the same block (302) and she idles nice and wants to hit the road. There is a show coming up at Falcon Field in Oct that will be my target to get back on the "circuit". Karl has been a big help and together we are re-building 2 Cobra's. His is not quite ready but I think it will be by Christmas or maybe even Thanksgiving. See you on the road.

I need to fly my dogs to the mainland (literally, two dogs) and was surprised to see that the Airlines DON'T allow travel as cargo if the weather is to hot. Hawaiian Airlines won't allow travel until October 16 and even THEN only if it's not "to hot" at the deportation and the destination.

Winter coming, let's get on with it!

There is a new "Pet Airlines" who only fly pets. Looking at their site however, they don't fly between Hawaii and the mainland yet.
