Butler with 350 Chevy
I hope there are a few of you out there that have a small block Chevy in your Cobra?
I do and I have a small issue with the clutch throwout fork. It is an original Chevrolet part, but I don't remember what model or the part number. Anyway, the problem is that the fork is a little too long and it binds with the drivers side aluminum heat-shield. I'm ready to cut it down to shorten it and I thought I would ask first to see if anyone had other solutions.
I've already modified it once to accommodate a hemispherical -joint without changing the length, so doing it again is no big problem.
It would also be great to know what fork & slave cylinder you are using.
Thanks,
