Default Windshield glass for Butler Cobra.

Does anyone know who made or supplied the glass for a Butler Cobra,

I'm hoping the glass is a standard size used in all Ron's Cars.

I could call Ron but I don't want to disturb him. I've called him several times over the past 25 years on Cobra needs and that's what I call GREAT after-sales customer service.

Did yours break? If it isn't in pieces, you can make an outline of it and have one cut in M10 Lexan. The bend isn't sharp enough to create any issues when you install it. You can use wipers with M10 also and it doesn't scratch like normal Lexan.

Just a thought if you cannot find one.

I just ordered a Lexan windshield from Fast Freddie's Fabrication. Should be here this week. They were great over email. Fast response.

Good price also from shopping around the web.

I already have a 4' x 8' sheet of Scratch resistant Lexan to make as many windscreens that it will yield.

But I need to find an exact one in the event I want to stick with glass. I also need to submit an insurance claim and need a source for the real price.

Windscreen is cracked from top to bottom, but is intact as only one layer of the laminated glass is cracked.

My glass is still in the original box. I will check this evening if there is any manufacturer information on box.

Finally had time to get to the shop. Unfortunately the box has no printing other than fragile!
Sorry I couldn't help.

AGP Genuine Autoglass part ASI M2 Dot 177 Laminated Tinted . I ordered windshield, hood latches, trunk latches, mirror, small parts from Butler because I wanted English hardware not cheep Taiwanese hardware. Side by side you can tell the difference. Also wanted windshield to be in brass frame not aluminum. This was back when he was building cars, I don't have Butler car , this is on Bennett car.
