I have been looking at those for a little while. They look quite good, i havn't done enough research yet though to know if the price is good as i am about a year away from buying seats.

There are some others on there also that are about $350 each, but they dont look all that high quality in the pics and it doesn't say if they are vinyl or leather.

Those seats are in a few cars down here. I'm pretty certain they can be tailored to fit most cars and "about 2 grand" was the going rate mentioned to me - in leather of course.

I don't think the cheaper ones are ADR approved unfortunately.
They don't have headrests that are mandatory in NSW & Qld, not sure about other states.

I think they look good enough to put in the lounge room... A couple of runners with felt covered feet. If you can get through a night in front of the idiot box then they are proven comfortable!

My understanding is that WA requires headrests as well for ADR.

It says that they have optional headrests.

The ADR specifies more than just head rests having to be there. There is a height requirements as well which is specified for fixed and moveable head rests.

Dont worry, i am not interested in the cheaper variant. I am planning on posibly looking at something out of a small Alfa or BMW but not for a long while yet. Will get the tape out before purchasing anything.

here is the web site for the ones in the original ebay ad - http://classicandsports.com.au/index.html

This is the cheaper one refered to http://cgi.ebay.com.au/COBRA-CLASSIC...item2a009f959e

Dont know if they ship to the states, may be pretty expensive postage cost.
