Hello Andrew,

If you are in NSW you need an engine that is within 3 years of your registration date. ie. if you plan to register in 2010 you need a 2007 or newer motor.

There are rumors that the standards might be relaxed, but I would not count on it!

If I was starting again I would get a 6 litre wreck and sell of all the other bits.
