Default Anyone have a 4l60e auto laying about?

Hey all, I have a little issue with my auto in the cobra and require a replacement.
I am looking for a spare box to use while my other is getting upgraded.
Has anyone bought a LS engine and not used the slush box?

I bow my head in shame to the quicker guy.

Will be a differnet story when I have tyres that are not so old.

Yeah yeah.

We both just need to concentrate on beating the cobra that was painted with a brush Dave.

I would be setting your sights a little lower there Gav. Aiming for that type of unobtainable goal can only lead to disappointment. Nothing beats the original:

Before you say it, yes its still school holidays and clearly I have too much time on my hands.

Hey Gav,

My 4L60 is out of the Dragster at the moment getting the "fully sic" treatment.

I'm getting a trans-brake installed along with strengthened internals, more pump pressure, bigger servos etc. I'm also getting a super tough 3rd 4th clutch pack and billet servo, which will enable WOT 4th gear changes. The Dragster changes into 4th just after the 1000ft mark and the change is very slow and sloppy, he reckons it will shift just like the other gears....

Here is a short video of it running, you can hear the sloppy 3rd 4th shift right near the end of the track http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAWubKvpuz4

I reckon a trans-brake is just the thing for you....

Cool Bob, I might take a miss on the trans brake though!

I am in two minds with the box at the minute, I'm just about to hit the shed with the lap top to play with it some more to see if my problems are operator error and if not out it comes.
Who is doing your upgrade?
