Well, my car has just passed engineer test.

Engineer advised he will be writting report on Monday and posting it too me that afternoon.
With Tuesday being a holiday, I should see the report by Friday - then it is a case of taking it to the MVR (they dont need car as they did there side of the checks whilst doing emissions, brake and noise tests) and paying my rego fees, pick up my plates and I am done.

Pics next week with rego label and number plates in place

What are the odds of it raining in Alice Springs next weekend?

Well done Dave! Thank god we live in states/territories that still have a reasonable approach to these things. My brakes were tested by the engineer with his pressure meter and the handbrake again at QT. It was a sufficiently detailed process. I really feel for Baz and the guys in NSW. Maybe if we weren't so variable and 'individual' in our approaches to building we could get some 'blanket' approvals on some of these items? Probably not ....

Enjoy that road time in the NT!

Nice feeling, isn't it.......that little relief then elated satisfaction. I still get it every rego inspection because I'm still building mine.

Thanks everyone, It was a huge relief to pass, and to have no issues at all made it even better.
