Default Painted

Hi Everyone,

I havent posted for a while - been waiting for my paint job.

Took a while as XMAS and an illness got in the way, but nearly done now.

Here's a couple of early pics.

I did a slightly wider strip in the middle - personal preference.

Now just waiting for delivery.

Rgds

Hey Greg,

Looks fantastic - the colour looks great, you must be feeling pretty chuffed. This has got to be one of the quickest builds. I bet those shiny bits can't go on fast enough... I hope to see you Wed. night with the biggest grin.

Good stuff Gregg
The big white strips again show another variation to a theme. Well done.

Thanks everyone.

Couldn't sleep last night, all my dreams were coloured Voodoo Blue with White Stripes :-)

Cant wait to see it in the sun.

Will post more once I get it back and start putting on the bling.

Looking very good Gregg.

How long before you are allowed to start bolting bits against the "green" paint?

Don't think the tan seats will look any good in the cockpit now. What colour interior you planning?

Will talk more tomorrow night at the meeting.

Gregg now is the time to fit all the shiny bits and then go and park it at the local shopping centre and soak up the compliments!

Slowy - Greg said I have to wait a week before putting on the windscreen - thats gonna kill me.

Sambo - You're the second person that asked if I was a Kanga's supporter. No, I'm a tigers supporter

Merv - can hardly wait.

Dave - the pics will be flowing soon I hope, I've got my Padded Dash already to go and my carpets and door trims all ready as well. I reckon about a day for bling and a day for interior trim.

Then the missus wont see me for a while

Rgds

1980 holy cow that was a long time ago.
I reckon I remember watching Kevin Bartlett running around back then.

At least the mighty Roo boys was only 11 years ago.

I have fond memories of Nanna taking me to watch training at Arden st in the late 80's early 90's

We allways stopped at the same pub on the way home so Nanna could have a shandy.

Default Looks beeter with Bonnet and Boot on in the Sun

Sambo, Regarding the Tigers, yes my kids keep on asking me "why we barrack for a crap team".

Dave, my new Brother in Law (in 1 weeks time) barracks for North Melb so he was pretty pleased to see my Cobra colour choices.

Below are some better pics with bonnet/scoop and boot lin on in the Sun.

Shame about the boat race.
