Default Big Block Wanted

I know this is a long shot and don't even think I have been swayed by the dark side.

However I am after a chev big block that I can use for a mock up, and to pull an even longer bow if It has a 6/71 blower on top that would be a bonus.

I would only need it for a few days.

Phil

Hi Phil,

I have a complete big block sitting in the shed doing nothing. It's completely stripped down at the moment. You could use the block and heads to mock things up. Sorry, I cant help with the blower.

I think I saw full size plastic replicas of engine blocks with blowers etc specifically made for test fitting into chassis....(Vee Dub Kombi)...I'm sure they were in the Summit Racing catalogue

When your done with it it would make a nice birdbath stand in the back yard ! (someone would pinch it from the front yard)

Question

Craig,

A bit off topic here ...did you end up running the Mumford setup in your car?...

Hi Paul,
Sure did - just sent you a PM. Here's something to get us back on the blown big-block track...

I could bring the block and heads to shelbyfest for you and you could take them home from there. Freighting this big lump of a motor would be pretty exe.

Cheers
