Hi Ben. Did you have any trouble passing emission test. if not, what exaust system did you use. Im thinking i might freshen up the 5.7 before i have to do the test.

I had no problems but i did not do the im240 test, but vic roads did require extra info about my cats, mufflers plus photos before they issued the vin. This was on top of the original info the engineer sent.I have a contact if you are chasing any exhaust bits

Hey Ben. Good to hear it all went smoothly. Any chance your contact has some cheap VZ/VE cats lying around?

Default VIN tags.

Guys, in West Aust. mine took less than 24 hrs. Faxed off the application one afternoon to DPI Engineering Div, and I got a fax back the following morning. !!!!!!!!

I too was shocked, but dont knock it. The licensing part at the pits made up for it. Had to go back 3 times to get my RMC licensed a couple of weeks ago. 5 hrs in the queue the first time, 5 hrs the second time and about 10 seconds the third time.

anyway, all licensed now, so another one on the road in WA.

Default Rego

Benny,

Well done, its a great feeling to put the plates and sticker on.

I had to pay mine again a few weeks ago, sh$t how time flies.

Drive it and find out what rattles and pissed you off before you start painting and the trim process. my 2 cents worth.

We don't do stickers here in WA anymore... Just plates!

Postponed by the RTA again for another week. Staff shortages. I'm used to this now. Not even pissed off.

Baz that sucks.

If the ADR's were to change before that inspection would you have to change?

I am planning to get mine through before the ESC. If i get to the point you are at now and the ADR kicks in will i have to change? Sounds scary.

I suspect that it will all work out, but it is a lot of money to gamble with.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that's how it would be Liam. I'm now at the stage that I expect further delays to occur each week. That way, I'm not disappointed when they occur. Here are some pics. The cars ready, I'm ready... Just waiting now for the RTA

Baz

man that thing looks jacked up , is that its finished ride height, or are the wheels or the photography giving the wrong impression, [ nice finish]

I'm guessing it's jacked up to give adequate ground clearance with an under body exhaust. I had to lift mine up a bit to get legal clearance for rego.

Baz, I have a theory about such events that is based on pessimism, and not optimism. One is always surprised that way! I am sure that it will be on the road very soon. It is one of the best cars in the country.
