Default Fire 1 Workshop 0

What an awful series of photos! Jason Graham's workshop in the States:

Here are numerous other photos. Don't even begin to count the number of rare and valuable parts on the cars, let alone the hemi motors littered throughout the workshop...

Here's what the workshop looked like in better times: http://jasongrahamhotrods.com/

What a mess, looks like all steel cars too. Was there any indication of what caused it? From the few pics you posted it looks like it may have started under the lift, as bent as those rails are that was a lot of heat. Since the metal on the other cars looks pretty good( not distorted like the lift), I was wondering the cause.
My first bike job in 1969 was at a BSA/Triumph/Yamaha dealer that had been an Indian dealer in the early days. It had a wooden floor that was pretty saturated from oil over the years, it went up and there was little that could be done. Oil saturated wooden floors are pretty hard to get put out.

How dare you insinuate that BSAs, Triumphs and Indians leak oil!!!
The owner of the shop was advised that an electrical short got the fire started.

All in all, it's another example of why cars should have insurance during a build, not just when they're registered.

The bodies are burnt bud not distorted...they can be salvaged. My dad was a perfectionist panel beater and I've watched him rebuild burnt cars like those pictured. The paint on the car under the hoist is scorched (on the door) not burnt. I'm pretty sure that's an alloy valve cover on the hemi on the hoist. So that fire wasn't too hot. I'm guessing the steel in the hoist ramp was a pretty low grade mix. As for the whole picture....It makes me feel sick...all that work...toasted.
