Indicators.
Has anyone out there used clear indicator lenses on the front of their car? If so were you happy with the look?
Regards.

Thanks Merv, I think I'll go clear. I don't know it your aware or just decided not to use them, but you can get chrome dress rings that hide the rubber that the indicators and stop lights sit on. By the way I really like the look of the stone guards on the headlights.
Regards.

Thanks Mando. Actually mine are on chrome mounts they just look like rubber in that pic. Strange. The stone headlight guards are so '60's. Have had them around for years.

Thought I would reuse this thread to get some ideas for my side indicators. What have people used? I'm after a period look so preferrably oval or at least with rounded corners. I know a few people are going for factory Barina or Lexus lamps - any pictures? Obviously I need them to be ADR compliant. Thanks.

I have VT commonwhore series II lights.
The series 1 are orange, series 2 are clear.
I was always going to have decals on the side to "hide" the light.

Clear
Sambo
Like the original posting, I wanted clear lens side lights. These are aftermarket replacements for VY/VZ Commodore.

Thanks guys. I like the Holden/Mazda style. Had a look around the car park this morning and the Mazda one looks a little smaller or lower profile. Fair comment Merv? The one I saw was on a Mazda 2.

Thanks Stiffy, I'll keep my eyes peeled for one. $30 for VT lights - can't really go wrong.

Mando, I used a BMW variant - a lot of people comment on them (that they like them) for some reason.

Gregg, what a coincidence, I took a photo of a 1 series last night and it had the same indicators. I think you've reversed the direction of yours?

Yeah I like them facing in the other direction. Were a bugger to wire up though as I didnt have the right plug so I had to solder some wires onto the pins etc.
