Default Shock recommendation

I am in the market for front shocks. I have coilovers on the rear that are rebound adjustable, but i cant fit coilovers to the front without some big modification. I am looking for a nice shock that has a ride height of 10". I am looking at the QA1 shocks, but im interested to know what else is available.

Any recommendations?

Zedn, I don't think I can help, but i'm curious. Is the series 3 jag front different to the series 1 & 2? The 1 & 2 use coil over as standard

Im 99% sure that the actual Jag front on the jaguar for s1,2,and 3 uses a small spring and a shock that is an eyelet on the bottom and a pin on top. I may be wrong but i think the brakes is all that is different between series.

My kit utilises the complete Jag cross member only shortened in the centre. An extra shock mount is added to the upper part in front of the upper control arm mounts and uses a 10" shock. Most other kits that use the Jag front dont use the cross member, just the control ams, ball joints, brakes etc and coilovers.

I considered converting to coilovers on the front, but there is a lot of fabrication required to fit the overall spring diameter and i dont want to get bogged down with it at this stage. I have added this to the "opportunity for improvement after rego" list.

I have ordered some QA1 shocks to go in for now.
