1 coat Wattyl super etch
2 coats POR15 chassis black

It will then survive in the rotten Melbourne conditions.

eeek EDIT ... make that pleasant Perth conditions.

This Aussie paint mob are said to be as good as POR15:

Blacktop is their version of Chassis black

Not tried it myself tho.

I did mine with POR 15 Black. It looks nice in gloss. This pic isnt that clear but you get the idea.

I've used it on my diff centre, and it came up a treat. A 250ml can goes a bloody long way too
