And the mighty maroon machine marches on. I love the look of crushed cockroaches. Isnt it amazing since the blues lost their best player [ bill harigon] a few years ago they can hardly win a game, although he was up to his old tricks at the end trying to get them over the line with a knockon try. 5 series in a row coming up, crushem. That cockie crunch is a sound most Queenslanders enjoy Tom. Didn't that great referee the 'Grasshopper' come from up in Mackay?

Missed the game last night, but I see the result is as expected.
I got a text message last night as follows.
The State or Origin game has been moved to the adult channel, apparently 17 NSW A$$holes being hammered for 80 minutes is to explicit for free to air tv.
Go the Maroons.

Five great tries to the mighty Maroons.
One OK try and three bloody suss efforts to the Cockies.
28-14 is a better reflection of the game.
One up, and we'll put 'em to sleep at Suncorp on the 16th.

A Queensland fan and a nsw supporter are out walking their dogs.
The Queenslander says " Every time we win an Origin series my dog does backflips for a week. What does yours do?"
The other guy replies "I don't know. He's only four years old."

Classic!
5 in a row without a doubt!
Perhaps New Zealand could come into the State of Origin, might be a bit tougher opposition......

It was too easy.
On a more serious note, what can the cockroaches do to improve there chances?

Yep. We're getting good at it. Lots of practice!
Some southern types said we're only there because of Slater Lockyer Thurston and Smith. OK, so replace them with Boyd Prince Cronk and Ballin. We haven't lost much there! (Although a Qld origin team without Locky would be almost like Queensland without sunshine.)
The time must come when we eventually lose, everything is cyclical, but gee isn't it great to be a QUEENSLANDER right now?
