Default Build update

Thought i would post some pics and update of my build for those that like looking at pics as much as i do.

Originally when i shortened my Jag control arms i just butt welded them. After about 9 months of not being able to get the thought of failure out of my head i decided to get another pair and shorten them. Luckily there is an old jag at pick an payless so i got another set of arms and a few other bits an pieces for $100.

I decided to sleave them this time as follows:

For my pedals i decided to go with the reverse swing Wilwood setup so that i can keep the firewall looking nice and clean. Took a hell of a lot of stuffing around, but i managed to get them to fit. There is just enough room for the remote reservoir to attach. Still have to close off the end of the SHS and add the bracket for accelerator. Will also run a brace down to the chassis.

For the column i have gone with one out of a VK Commondore. I originally bought a column from a late model holden but it was airbag so meant i couldnt use an aftermarket wheel. I ended up buying a boss kit for the Billet Specialties wheel that i am going to use and then went out and tried it on every car at pick and payless till i found the right one. It looks ordinary now, but i am going to fabricate a new shroud. Seats are RX7, my new trim for them arrives next week which i am excited about.

Heres some side pics. Door is just taped on. The colours on the door are me testing different colours out. I have decided on the one closest to the front. Its a blue pearl from a yamaha motorbike. Cant see it all that well but looks great in the sun.

Currently plumbing the brakes and then its off to get the chassis tested.

After that i am building a custom stainless drop tank and will be installing motor and gearbox around Aug / Sep. With a bit of luck it will be running early next year.
