My car is still a none gloss finish, so I gave them a quick squirt with spray on contact adhesive.

This is the decals with the ink starting to run, printed onto label paper on the bubble jet printer.

This is another Cobra I turned into a race car for the day for the 'Classic Car Show' here in Perth, I also added a funny sticker for the end of the side pipes.

AC302
Wipe the area clean.
Use a mist sprayer - windex type bottle and spray a fine mist on the area.
Attach the decal/sticker wipe out all bubbles.
I use my fingers to get the smaller bubbles out.
Let them dry overnight before driving.
I generally check them the next day wiping out any new bubbles.
I have had them exposed to nearly 200k and they have not flown off.
If you notice an edge lifting take the decal/sticker off and wipe and re apply. An edge lifting will get air and rip the decal/sticker off even at low speed.
J. ring me if you have any problem.
Bernie

The best source of pics for decal positions are early Cobra racing photos on
the net.
I made up some decals a few years back to turn one of our Cobra club members car into a pretend race car and a pretend pit area to add a bit of extra colour to our 'Cobra Car Club Show & Shine' held at the 'Classic Car Show' here in WA, (Western Australia).
They were printed onto A4 label paper with an adhesive back to stick on the car for the day, it worked a treat. It was a stinking hot day of 42 degree Celsius in the shade in March. Then around 3.00pm we had a thunder storm come through and dumped some rain on the cars, bubble jet printed decals are not waterproof, hence, the ink began to run. The car got a lot of attention with people photographing it all day.
We all had a great laugh at the wet decals.

Boxhead,
You'll never have time to make a sticker, you've got to get started on those trucks,
stay focused, we want to see what you can do to the trucks.
Maybe if you put a sticker similar to my one, you wont need heat shields for your side pipes,
people will read it and realize they might be hot.
Cheers,
Harry.

Still doing research on trucks.
But it appears that Mazda T4000 series front and rear axle is a good fit (smaller wheels and better highway ratio)
I have found a supllier of 4 speed overdriven auto that is used in motor homes (at a reasonable cost)
I have also had the idea of air bag suspension thrown at me, and with a spare cabin I am toying with the idea of a roof chop.
