Whose car is this at the Noosa Hill Climb a couple of weeks ago?

I think from memory this is a pretty well set up race car underneath.
It was mentioned afew months ago.

Know the car well. It's a twin rail RMC powered by a 289W.

Known as "The Mongrel". Competes in various hill climb events around Brissy. Considerable work has been done on the suspension and braking to get it to handle well.

Until recently used to be painted pink.

A mate has been doing heaps of body work on it to get the weight down. Carbon bonnet and boot lid are fairly recent additions, as is the black primer finish.

Not a big horsepower car and the owner doesn't rev it hard. Achieves his quick times because of excellent braking and handling.

OK mystery solved - no longer pink! Apparently he had a lot of difficulty getting off the line with wheel spin and lost time. The Noosa hill climb track is very hard on cars.
