Bit late now . Im not at all concerned, as it came out of a car after rolling off the production line, it should have been tested and working. They are a real professional outfit and they specifically wrote "new" on the invoice so if there was any major issues, i would have some recourse.

Another step closer!!
Just be careful when buying a throttle body.

IF you get a factory throttle body the colour of the blade will determine the ECU you will need to run.

Silver means early (2006,2007,2008)
Brass means late (2009,2010)

Thanks Doubledip,

I will do some more investigation when the time comes. I saw on the LS1 forum you guys were having trouble with an LS3 boat throttle body. Was that due to a new throttle body with old ECM? Can i use an LS2 TB instead?

Yes. We tried an old ecu with a ls3 throttle body and tried tuning the problem out. But no luck with the tables available at the time in the software. Just swapped the throttle body with a early type Ls2 l98 early l76 early. As long ad silver blade will all work with older ecus
