Nah mate, we're both OK. I think we'd be better though if we saw a GenIV powered RMC make it's way to a Cobra breakfast soon.
I hope your mate finds an alloy block for the right price. I shied away from going alloy with the supercharged motor as they recommend grout filling them to the plugs when you get up towards 20lb boost. Seemed like a waste to reduce weight, only to add it back. There are dyno tests that have showed a 30hp loss in a 1000hp motor with the alloy block, so that made up my mind.
Now, for a high rpm / light weight naturally aspirated motor, that's a different deal altogether!
