Default IM240 test.

I finally passed my IM240 test today. It's taken over 300kms on the dyno but thank god it's done. We were made to complete 3 runs and we had passes on all three. Needless to say I was very happy
It's of to do the brake and lane change test next and get the Engineer to sign of on the build. Shouldn't be to hard from now on!

Regards.

Well done Mando, that is what I reckon is the hard part out of the way (unless you live in NSW).
Hope the rest goes smoothly and quickly for you.

Very well done Mando.

Always good to get a segment of testing passed and out of the way.

I'll have to organise to catch up when I'm again over and have a listen to your beastie.

I might be there for a short period in a few weeks I'll stay in touch when I know.

Cheers

Steve

Dimis, the part I conveniently left out was that my car spent,

==80kms for the first tune

==45kms to the testing facility and back to my home. (This was the only time my car has been on the road. When I started my build in 2002 I did a deal with a guy that owns a fleet of flat bed transporters to move my car everytime it needed, for a flat rate of $60 for each shift untill the car was 100% complete).

==590kms at the next tuner that turned out to be the owner of the only 5 gas analyzer in SA

==All up 715kms

Regards.

Great news Mando. Do you have a specific emissions tune saved on file now? I'd love to see how the injector pulse width, ignition timing and lambda readings compare to a real-world tune...!

I've heard that Morrison are building their beautiful injection systems exclusively in New Zealand now. We can't let the Kiwis claim such a work of art!

Craig, I have no idea what's on file in regards to the tune other than it was tuned to max out at 3000rpm's. If it helps I can give you the Tuners number if you want any specific info.
I didn't know Morrrisons are moving to NZ. It seems a bit unusual when you consider the crew he has working for him including a couple of family members all live in Melbourne.

Regards.
