Sunshine NSW
They look pretty good Paul.
Save a tone of weight ditching the cast iron calipers

What THE! Am I reading the price right? $1599.99 USD. There is a lot of more "needy bling" to buy for that price.

I think these brakes are big but I would check if they are better.
Much better brands out there for that price.

"5.1.1.2. In particular, the braking equipment shall be so designed, constructed and fitted as
to be able to resist the corroding and ageing phenomena to which it is exposed."
I guess like a lot of the rules it is open to interpretation.

I'll say it is. The material the piston is made from can be said to do this.
Much easier just to use standard Jag that are easily big enough and spend the money else where.

10 Kg each caliper...unsprung weight. Not too desirable. I've been looking for lighter brakes for ages and last night I saw Brembos with a blank mounting flange. ie drill your own.
I haven't looked further yet but I will later. need to know what size rims they will fit into.

Yeah, keep me posted with your findings Rob.
I just hate those bluddy heavy jag calipers . Been looking for an alloy substitute for a while.

Ok don't hold your breath. I've been looking for ages and my new job has slowed all things Cobra down to a crawl. I will let you all know when I get the goods. It looks like this is a big issue ! Ksport seems to be at every auto show flogging all sorts of drifting stuff.

Try these guys, www.vicspiteri.com.au . They have vented rear discs for the jag set up and they showed me a nice set of alloy front calipers that they manufacture which look very nice indeed....
