David Jannsen as in the Fugitive? 1967? That is a 90's Ford HO.

Anyone heard of a Janssen Cobra? No record on Google, spelt with one or two s's. I'll put the link over on the US forum and see what reaction it draws. It may be an obscure early make from over there judging by the left hand drive.

If it really is a 1967 version (?), the maker has had plenty of time to try to get those butt-ugly rear guards right. And as Merv says, that's a late series motor in there. I like the serious attempt to tidy up the engine bay, not!

This is one for the die-hard thrill seeker. Interesting to see how it pans out but let someone else take the gamble. Approach with a large barge-pole!

I would guess it is "titled" as 1967, actual build date could be a lot later.

Someone wanted dish and big wheels on the rear no matter what it took to get them!

Regards.

Well...89 looks so far over on the US forum, but no replies.
Looks like it's an orphan.
