Thumbs up GoKarting in AUST..????

Well I have go-karted at quite a few tracks around Melb. and this weekend spent the day at the Phillip Island GP Circuit and their GoKart track a scaled version of the Island track was a great arvo on their 760mtr track!!!!
We had 4 races of 10 minutes and a single tandem kart race with the son,I'd highly recommend it if you get the chance to do it down here!!

Funny coincidence, my mates were down there yesterday morning. I also took this video at a bucks event last year. I heard they recently replaced all the karts with new ones so I'm keen to head back soon.

Interesting onboard vid, oops at 0.47 lol some good passing moves later on though.

While you would never expect anything that flash out this way I am glad to say the Emerald motorsport complex is nearly ready to open.
Jamie Rolfe has put a lot of work in and told me last friday it is near ready. The go kart track is 10 metres wide with view to having single car (real size) timed laps and as he is a petrol head with similar brand choice to Boxhead there will be room to drag also. The story is they have already secured a kart final somewhere down the track (sorry) so may see some more motorsport fans out this way soon.
I have scored a job as assistant manager at the Emerald SuperCheapAuto store and am doing my best to ensure we can support the complex even if in just a small way.
While it may not be quite the buzz you have just experienced it is a long awaited bonus for our area.
I may have to resurrect my old pulsejet powered go kart and give it a blat. What font size says BLAT at 130 Db??

Congrats on the job, well done.

Any support that can be provided to motorsport is much appreciated. Look forward to hearing more about the Emerald complex.

Cheers
