Really? But what if suddenly you dont need to be a member to get rego?

You won't have the same licence to build to a car to a comic strip picture(Rat Rods)....which by the way I love!!!....the car under the 45/90 would be to restrictive for what some would want ,though again for those basic rods and Customs it could well be an attractive option....
As for not having to be a member again I believe most are members because of 1. the scene and the protection ASRF Membership offers when customising or building!!

My old Alfa is on Conditional Registration, with a log book, overseen by my car club.
I have seen it mentioned on Club Cobra about Conditional Registration for ICVs in Australia.
I’m not aware if this scheme is operating here in South Australia. Can anybody enlighten me?
Being able to use a car for 90 days per year in effect means being able to drive it every Sat. & Sun. for 45 weeks of the year. That’s fantastic (and cheap too!)
Surely having an ICV on Conditional Rego would require the vehicle to be compliant to the relevant ADRs before it could go onto Condition Rego, though?
Can anybody give me more information, and particularly on the SA situation, but also what is the situation interstate?

I have my cobra and my 32 coupe and thay are both have 90 day rego and the cobra has been on SR rego for 10 years and it went on to 90 day automaticly and it is great i am a ASRF member and i worked on the rego scheme for a few years in the beginning and now there is 50 clubs that can sign the car of for rego the main club that stuck with it is the OMAC and we have them to thank.

I must admit, I'm a fan of the 90day permit concept.
Now if I want a cobra as a daily driver all I need to do is build 4.
That will help solve the problem of what colour to paint the beast

I'll have one in silver, blue, black, and red.

But which State do you live in?
Does anybody know if the 90 day conditional rego that encompasses Cobra replicas is operational in all States, or just some?
Are the compliance conditions for conditional rego different to those for full rego?
