Thanks for the kind comments guys. I must admit that I really have mixed feelings about selling her, but I've made the call, so we'll see what happens!

Merv - The whole GM vs Ford and Cobra heritage argument has been around for years and will no doubt continue for years to come - I'm sure most of the negative comments will have come from the US where they do not understand the licensing challenges we face in Aus...We Aussies have a bit more of a pragmatic view on life. I'm neither a Ford guy nor a GM guy - I just love classic cars...especially Cobra's...always have and I suspect always will!
The Traction Control system as Andy advised is a "Race Logic" system that has launch control and is adjustable (via a remote digital adjuster) in 1% increments from 0% up to 25%. (See - Racelogic - Experts in data logging, video logging & GPS) I must admit that having the traction control system is probably overkill for me, but at the time I decided to fit it, I saw it as a bit of insurance considering I was installing a 500hp crate motor in a Cobra and I really did not know just how good the traction would be! In actual fact, the traction is amazing without it and in hindsight, not having it would have been fine - But it is certainly a "nice to have" and it does give you some comfort! No doubt there'll be some far more skilled drivers out there with bigger balls than me scoffing at having Traction Control in a Cobra, but I don't lose any sleep over their perspectives.

HSVREDSLED - The sidepipes and steering wheel changes were 2 of a few changes that I made from the standard Superformance spec roller. The induction pod in the first YouTube posting was just a temporary air filter position for the engine install, run-in and dyno-tune stage.

Regards....Paul
