What engine would you run if no rego hassles

I'm getting 1,000 klm out of my 2.0 litre diesel Golf for 50 litres. I don't know what it would sound like with side pipes but there would be plenty of room in the engine bay.

Great news today and time to pull out the good bottles of red. My engineeer has finally supplied a 17 page report on the calculations of the stress points on the Cobra and when I get off here, I have to email them to the RTA. Hopefully, I will then receive a new inspection date and have the car registered before the massive changes occur in NSW with the NSW RTA structure.

GOOD NEWS Baz, Another step forward. I hope you get some sort of positive result. This 'restructure' could be good for us or the death of ICVs in NSW.

You could probably twist my arm. I can do an iron block 500 inch BBF for cheaper than that Dart blocked Windsor you and I have been discussing.
